Working with Jackie G is a personal, detail-driven experience — one built around thoughtful design, clear communication, and an uncompromising eye for quality.

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, my goal is to make the process feel seamless, exciting, and perfectly tailored to you.

Here’s how we’ll work together, step-by-step:

Our journey begins with a scheduled phone call, where we’ll discuss your project goals, timeline, and investment expectations. It’s a chance to connect, explore your vision, and ensure we’re aligned in style and approach. If it feels like the right fit, we’ll move forward with a complimentary 60-minute consultation. This meeting includes a walkthrough of your space and an initial discussion of your goals, scope, and timeline. Afterward, you’ll receive a personalized design proposal outlining the full project scope, estimated design fees, and the next steps to secure your spot on my schedule. To move forward, we ask for a retainer, starting at $5,000 for design-only projects or 40% of the design budget for renovation and construction work. The right-sized retainer allows us to work efficiently and keep your project on track. Your proposal will detail the exact retainer amount and include a clear payment schedule so you’ll always know when payments are due and where we are in the process.

Once the proposal is approved and the retainer is received, we begin developing your design. This phase includes everything needed to bring your project to life — mood boards, detailed drawings, materials, selections, renderings, and preliminary estimates — all tailored to your goals and lifestyle. We’ll schedule a formal design presentation where you’ll see the full vision come together — along with estimated costs to help guide your decision-making. After that, we’ll collaborate on any necessary refinements to ensure every detail feels just right.

Once your selections are finalized and approved, I take care of ordering everything for you. I’ll handle placing the orders, tracking lead times, managing communication with vendors, and coordinating deliveries to make sure each item arrives on time. Behind the scenes, I’m managing all the moving parts so you don’t have to — keeping your project organized, on schedule, and set up for a smooth, stress-free installation.

During this phase, I stay closely involved with your contractor and trades, providing on-site visits, detailed drawings, clarifications, and design guidance as needed. My role is to help ensure that the construction and installation reflect the design vision — with precision, quality, and attention to every detail. I serve as your design advocate throughout this phase, so the final result matches what we planned and imagined together.

Once construction is complete and all built-in elements — like cabinetry, tilework, plumbing fixtures, and lighting — are installed, I conduct a final design walkthrough to ensure every detail aligns with the design vision and meets the highest standards. For projects that include furnishings and soft goods, I guide the placement and ensure everything fits cohesively within the space, so the overall design feels intentional, complete, and elevated. I’m known for my meticulous eye — because true luxury lives in the details. Every space I design is crafted to feel cohesive, purposeful, and beautifully finished.

Our founder Jackie comes from a construction background, so we approach design first from a buildability perspective, literally asking - Can this be built well and built right? Second, we keep functionality top of mind. Once built, will this meet our clients' daily needs? Third, of course we make it pretty, but what that means comes entirely from our client's vision. We get just as excited about a minimal, neutral space as a dopamine-infused, colorful home. Bottom line, your home should reflect your personality. Absolutely! Kitchen and bath design is totally our jam, because these are the spaces where beauty meets function. We love bringing them to life! We can handle your kitchen or bath project from cabinetry design and appliance placement to choosing tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, and more. We’ll create the design, oversee purchases, and manage the install so you have a smooth, low-stress remodel experience. Fancy Design Fact: Early in our founder’s career, she had the incredible opportunity to learn from Chris Peacock, a world-renowned Kitchen Designer known for his bespoke cabinetry and attention to detail. That experience shaped how we approach every kitchen and bath today — making sure beauty meets function in all the right ways.

It depends on the project. We specialize in the architectural and built-in elements of a home — kitchens, baths, custom cabinetry, and hard finishes. For full-scope projects such as new builds or major renovations, we also provide furnishings and soft goods as part of the overall design package. If you have a furnishings-only project, we’re happy to connect you with trusted colleagues who specialize in that type of work.

You get to choose your comfort level! Many of our clients prefer a hands-free, full-service design experience — resulting in turnkey interiors where every detail is managed from concept to installation. Others enjoy being deeply involved in the creative process. Either way, the most important thing you can do as a client is be prepared to make confident decisions at key milestones so we can keep the project moving forward.

We handle all sourcing and purchasing through our network of trusted trade vendors and custom workrooms, each hand-selected for their craftsmanship and reliability. Managing orders on your behalf allows us to: Track lead times and deliveries Coordinate installation Ensure every detail, from flooring to faucets, arrives and fits perfectly This approach keeps your project on schedule, removes stress from your plate, and helps avoid costly delays or mistakes that can happen with independent purchasing.

Yes! We regularly coordinate with our clients’ architects, builders, and contractors so details are aligned across the design and build teams. In fact, we “speak contractor” thanks to our founder Jackie’s background in construction! If you have your own contractor, we’d love to be introduced early so we can establish a plan for great communication that works for their team and process as well as ours! You’ll want everyone on the same page, working from one solid plan, so your project stays on schedule and on budget, and you get the results you expect. Don’t have a contractor or architect in mind? We’re happy to recommend trusted professionals who share our commitment to quality and client care.

Ooph, that’s tricky to answer! Timelines vary depending on your project’s size, the construction schedule, and material lead times, but also on things outside of our control, like pandemics, weather, and changing economics (eg, new tariffs). While we can’t always control the timeline, projects typically last anywhere from 6 months to several years. Our most important promise to you is to make it go as quickly and smoothly as possible, aiming for a well-paced process that respects your calendar.

Your investment depends on your vision and the project’s complexity. Most of our projects are priced using a simple flat-fee structure, and start with a minimum design retainer of $5,000. Design fees typically range from $20,000 to $100,000, while renovation budgets often start around $50,000 and can go into the millions. Your proposal will clearly outline the retainer, design fee, and any project management costs, so there are no surprises.

Yes! We offer 90-minute design consultations for $450. These sessions are perfect for clients who want expert guidance, direction, or advice on a specific area of their home or renovation project. It’s a great way to get professional insight without committing to a full design engagement. For smaller projects that fall between a single consultation and full design, we’re happy to assist existing or returning clients when our schedule allows.
